What comes first, weight loss or CoolSculpting?
Whenever someone tells me they need to lose 20 pounds before coming in for CoolSculpting, I can't help sharing my CoolSculpting testimony!
I had to learn this lesson the hard way, so I hope to save you some time and suffering with this revelation: CoolSculpting can be more effective than weight loss when it comes to reducing stubborn fat in specific areas of your body.
If your goal is to change your body composition, it's time to change the way you think of fat reduction and how you can achieve the body you desire — because what you think you know about targeted fat loss could be keeping you from reaching your body goals.
Discover why CoolSculpting is the ideal treatment to kick off the beginning of your fat loss journey.
Have you ever lost weight before but still not been happy with the shape of your body? As difficult as it may sometimes feel, losing weight can be far easier than changing the shape of your body.
Your body is genetically predisposed to store fat. Based on your family genetics, you may be more likely than others to store fat in certain areas. For some, that may be in the hips and thighs, while others may store and carry more fat in their stomach, arms, or under the chin.
As you lose weight by improving your diet and increasing the amount of exercise, you may find you can reduce the overall size of your body. But you're likely to find that your genetic blueprint for where your body stores fat remains the same.
Same tummy pouch, just a little smaller.
Same fat storage in your hips and thighs, even though you've lost 10 or even 20 pounds.
Researchers have proven that targeted spot reduction (trying to lose fat in a certain area by doing specific exercises or diet) does not work. In multiple studies, subjects attempted to exercise away fat from their abdominal regions or arms. Researchers concluded that exercise can help with fat loss that's generalized through the entire body, but exercise cannot help you with targeted fat reduction from one specific area.
What researchers have discovered in clinical studies, I discovered myself through my own journey to reshaping my body.
Before my very first CoolSculpting treatment, I did what so many of my clients do. I spent years of my life trying every diet on the planet, from Weight Watchers to Keto, a Mediterranean diet, Nutrisystem, Medical Weight Loss programs, and even hypnotherapy.
When I couldn't diet my way to targeted fat reduction, I tried exercising the fat away. I ran 10 marathons in an attempt to reduce fat in certain areas of my body. And while l was able to lose weight with my diet and exercise efforts, I still wasn't happy. Despite the weight loss, I still didn't like the shape of my body and that stubborn hunk of fat on my belly that just never went away.
Until CoolSculpting took it off and changed my life forever.
CoolSculpting works by applying cold treatment to very specific areas of the body, like those where stubborn fat loves to hunker down for the long haul. Like my stubborn belly fat, under the chin, back of the arms, and on hips and thighs.
Unlike diet and exercise, which can help with general weight loss, CoolSculpting focuses on those stubborn areas and help you achieve your goal of targeted fat reduction.
That mom pooch that just won't go away, no matter how many ab exercises you've done or miles you've run on the treadmill? A CoolSculpting treatment can freeze away the fat cells in that area so you can kiss that pooch goodbye for good.
CoolSculpting works by using cold to freeze and destroy fat cells without the need for surgery, needles, or downtime. Your body naturally removes the treated fat cells from your body, helping you slim and sculpt areas such as your belly, thighs, love handles, double chin, and upper arms.
CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical fat-removing procedure that is noninvasive, effective, safe, and FDA-approved.
CoolSculpting is not a weight loss treatment; it doesn't take the place of a healthy diet plan and intentional exercise program. So don't think of it as an "either-or" situation.
Instead, consider CoolSculpting Elite treatments to be the kick-off event that gets you headed down the road to a completely new body!
Your CoolSculpting results will show in about 4 weeks, and you will see the complete transformation and fat reduction in treated areas by week 12.
In the meantime, you could see major progress towards your overall weight loss goals through diet and exercise while you wait for your final treatment results to appear!
The time will pass anyway.
Where do you want to be in 12 weeks? You can diet and exercise alone and see some progress towards your weight loss goals, or you can combine diet and exercise with a CoolScuplting treatment and see a completely different body in the mirror.
After my own experience with diet and exercise vs. CoolSculpting, I know exactly what choice I would make. This is why I recommend to my clients: "Don't wait!"
Weight loss can be tricky and take time. However, changing your body with a fat reduction treatment is simple, safe, and effective.
